Organize work with campaigns

Updated Nov 8, 2026 Based on Salesforce docs updated 2026-08-27

A campaign is a container that bundles the personalization points and decisions for one coordinated initiative — for example a “Holiday Sale” or “New Visitor Welcome” effort — so you can target, schedule, and switch the whole thing on or off as a single unit instead of touching each piece alone.

Create a campaign

  1. Create a new campaign and give it a name that identifies the initiative.
  2. Add the personalization points and decisions that belong to this initiative.
  3. Set the targeting rules that decide who the campaign applies to.
  4. Set the campaign’s schedule if the initiative is time-bound (e.g. a sale period).
  5. Activate the campaign and confirm its decisions are serving.
