Configure the mobile schema

Updated Nov 7, 2026 Based on Salesforce Data Cloud docs reviewed 2026-11-07

The Unified Mobile SDK sends your app’s events — what users do (engagement) and who they are (profile) — into a data lake object (DLO), a staging table in Data 360. Map that DLO to a data model object (DMO) so Salesforce Personalization can use the data.

Map the mobile event schema

  1. Open the mobile connector’s engagement data lake object (DLO).
  2. Map its event and attribute fields to the matching data model object (DMO).
  3. Open the connector’s profile DLO and map its attributes to their DMO.
  4. Align the identifier your app sends (for example, a device ID) with your identity resolution rules.
  5. Save the mapping and confirm new app events populate the DMO.
